Paris Fashion Week 2026- Tom Ford showcased their Spring 2026 collection at the Place Vendôme 7; each garment cleverly reverberating its own voice. Designed by Haider Ackermann, pieces hit the runway with striking definitiveness refusing to be outshined by its counterparts.

Seduction and desire are two of the driving forces that assisted in the curation of this collection. Ackermann explicitly states that in this collection he [sees]nobility in the characters that inhabit this vision, with their graphic bangs and lips that suddenly glisten in color, in the seductive dignity of their vertical tailoring”;the intensity and intention that directed his creative process was evident on the catwalk

Highly tactile fabrics such as high-sheen satin, silk, glossy leather, structured neoprene, and PVC, were all used in order to bring Ackermann's visions to life.  The light beaming off these textiles highlighted the intricate cutouts, allowing you to follow the story behind the fabric giving way for natural movement of the body, Maneuvring in such a way gave the audience multiple perspectives of each outfit as models made their way down the runway, each angle providing the illusion that the outfit alters.

Showcasing a wide variety of aesthetics, Ackermann was able to maintain a constant hum of an elegant futuristic theme, defining a shift into a new era of the brand’s lasting identity. With such striking and bold silhouettes it is easy to get lost in the curves and rigid edges, but many of the garments are tied together with the classic provocativeness of the company's usual designs; blending sexy with chic. The satin dark indigo striped suit is just one of the many ways that Ackermann and Ford were able to combine sultry with sophistication. The playfulness of the satin contrasts perfectly with the strict tailoring of the suit, in a way that brings a whole new meaning to business casual. These satin suits continue combining delicate and shiny textiles with a garment that is typically made of a wool blend, further accentuating the overarching idea of desire.

Every garment has an incredibly seductive aesthetic to it, no matter if the model is covered from neck to ankle in a PVC/Leather trench coat, or if they are completely exposed in a satiny lace night dress with a low cut neckline. This Spring/Summer 2026 collection by Tom Ford is bringing a fresh perspective on what many believe to be taboo.
